CABRINI HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The Monroe High boys soccer team push their record to 5-0 after beating Allen Park Cabrini 2-0 on Thursday night. Cabrini played well defensively and frustrated the Trojans as they went into half 0- 0. However Monroe came flying out in the second half and went ahead by way of a Jake Myers PK. Andrew Buchko gave the Trojan some breathing room late in the game by extending the lead to 2 goals. Tylor Poore recorded the shutout in goal in his first varsity game. Monroe will start a grueling SEC season on Tuesday against Ann Arbor Pioneer.
