Monroe finished 2nd at the Wayne Invitational this weekend with some VERY strong performances. The top 3 teams were Livonia Churchill (325), Monroe (255), & SMCC (180). Nicole Rykse was the 200 & 500 free invitational champion. "She won the 500 unchallenged, and still had a strong time. I'm excited to see what she can do during championship season. Nicole has been putting in a lot of hard work. They all have, and that shows by all of our 2nd place finishes." said Coach Dowen.

1. Medley Relay: Willey, Rolinski, Smith, & Dieckmann
2. 50 Free: Sophia Smith
3. 100 Fly: Lauren Lahna
4. 200 Fr Relay: Smith, Willey, Rolinski, & Rykse
5. 100 Back: Delani Willey
6. 100 Breast: Kate Rolinski
7. 400 Free Relay: Rykse, Lietaert, Lahna, Dieckmann

Jana Dugan, Madison Mahoney, & Katie Murphy also swam well.  Monroe heads to Pinckney Tuesday, with a 5-5 season record. GO MONROE!
