Monroe shined at the recent Monroe County Swimming meet, which was held at Milan HS. Monroe finished in 4th place, with some really strong improvements in our relays. "We had a true TEAM effort on deck. We came to show off, and they sure did. Every girl on the team was a huge contributor - they all scored. Our relays all improved substantially. They've been working very hard, and I was happy to see them come away with some many shocking improvements! 

Sophia Smith had some stand out PRs in both the 50 free (4th) & the 100 Breast (3rd). Nicole Rykse ruled distance for the Trojans with some PRs in both the 200 Free (6th) & 500 Free (6th). Abby Dieckmann finished 4th in the 100 Free, with a PR. Kate Rolinski finished 5th in the 100 breast, posting a season best time. Lauren Lahna finished 7th in the 100 Fly, while Delani Willey finished 8th in both the 100 back & 200 IM events. Madison Mahoney, Summer Gulley, Katie Murphy, & Phoebe Lietaert also swam well.

Monroe finished with 162 MORE POINTS than we did last year. That shows how hard they have been working to improve.
