JOHN GLENN HIGH SCHOOL: 83
The Trojan Swim Team defeated the Rockets 89 to 83 last night. "We went 1 - 2 in 4 events, & had some real standout performances. Our plans are to keep increasing our training and technique work, while having a blast!" said Coach Dowen.
Freshman Nicole Rykse won the 200 & 500 free events & was on the winning 200 Fr relay team along with Lauren Lahna, Natalie Synowiec, & Olivia Synowiec. Delani Willey &Lahna were first & second in the 200 IM, Alice Hause & Caroline Grenn were 1 - 2 in diving, O. Synowiec & Katie Murphy placed first & second in the 100 fly, and N. Synowiec & Lahna completed the 1 -2 punch in the 100 breaststroke.
If you want to join the team - get your physical into the Athletic office ASAP, and join us M, W, Th next week 9-11 for practice.
