BEDFORD SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 16
The Monroe JV football team evened its record at 4-4 with a 28-16 win against Bedford Saturday morning. The offensive blocking of Xzander McCoy, Josh Bedner, Ryan Bruck, Luis Medina, Braxton Koerner, Jackson Durell, Brendan Bacon, Julian Espinoza, and Malakhi Threatt opened up big holes for four rushing touchdowns, three by Keoni Snavely and one by Grady Brooks. Snavely also had a rushing two point converstion and Bacon had a receiving converstion from Espinoza. The entire defense played well in the win led by Bedner, Koerner, Threatt, McCoy, Snavely, Bacon, Snavely, and Davian Davis. The Trojans end their season this Thursday with an away contest versus Riverview.
