RENTON JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 5
Monroe won both games 15-5 and 5-4. Brooklyn Kiker went 6 for 6 on the day. Ava Chapman and Olivia McMahon also contributed with some big hits and strong defensive plays.
Pitching was stellar today with Olivia McMahon striking out 13 Chiefs in game one and Allisun Fulner sat down 6 Chiefs in game two.
Zaylee Richard and Alyssandra Lewis were solid behind the plate. Zaylee Richard caught one Chief trying to steal on her.
Soffia Elmer scored the winning run of game two on a stolen base at third and then a error by 3b to score and give the Trojans the lead.
