Monroe Trojans won game one 8-5 vs. Thomas Simpson Middle School and loss game two 4-10.

Game 1 the Trojans had a come from behind win in the top of the 5th inning scoring 5 runs.  Olivia McMahon took the win in the circle with catcher Aly Lewis.  4ER 1BB with 8K's.  Trojan offense came to life with 11 hits this game.  Haley Overton led the way going 3 for 3.  The starting 9 all had a hit this game.  Jennah Cadle with a RBI and Meredyth Bashaw had their first hit off the season.  

Game 2 the Trojans loss the lead in the 5th inning.  Allisun Fullner took the loss for the Trojans.  She pitched well going 5 innings with 7 ER 2 BB.  Outfield played great led by Soffia Elmer, Jenna Cadle, and Milania Sweat.  The Trojans had 8 hits this game.  Offense was led by Zaylee Richard and Haley Overton with 2 hits each this game.  H. Overton her first triple of the season.  

The Trojans now have a 8 win 2 loss record.
