WAGAR JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 7
Monroe split with Carleton Wagar Middle School yesterday winning the first game in a slug fest 9 to 7. Monroe was led in hitting by Braydon Abood who was 2 for 2 and Drake Leach who went 2 for 3. Braydon Pearce did a nice job on the mound pitching the complete game and getting the win.
In the second game Monroe was winning 3 to 2 going in to the last inning but Wagar got the bases loaded on a couple of Monroe errors and with 2 outs got a double scoring two runs to win 4 to 3. Roman Beck was 2 for 2 and Braydon Abood did a nice job on the mound.
Monroe is now 6 wins against 3 losses for the season and 1 tie.
