An outstanding match and victory for our undefeated MMS Soccer team today at their last away game for the season against Lincoln Park. Monroe controlled the field with excellent movement and precise passes resulting in seven successful goals and a few quality shots that were near misses (Brody Smith). Evan Ortiz connected twice, assisted by Cooper Robinson and Edwin Sanchez-Mexicano who also scored twice.  Edwin's goals were assisted by Cooper and Colin Gray who was also able to score once for Monroe. Other goal scorers include Logan Brockway and Luis Lucero, who assisted Logan's goal after he won the ball for himself to score.

Lincoln Park is the first team to score on Monroe, getting one goal past Jameson Schmitt who had two other excellent saves.  Cooper Robinson also served as goalie, and had an excellent game in several key positions.  Peyton Novak was a standout on defense as well.

This team has a season goal total of 39 and is truly an excellent, high performing machine on the field. Monroe Athletics is proud of their MMS Soccer team.
