The MHS girl's track team competed in the Grizzly Invitational at Ypsilanti High School on Saturday 4/30. Against 8 other teams, the Trojans ended up coming away with the first place team trophy. Individual medal winners were: Meredith Soule (first in 200m, 300m hurdles, and 3rd in 100m hurdles), Kamryn Bice (first in both shot put and discus), Isabella Seger-Wagasy (first in high jump), Savannah MacPetrie (2nd in discus), Matley Rose (2nd in long jump), the 4x400m relay team of Rose, Grace LaPrad, Morgan Kay, and Soule (2nd), as well as 3rd place finishes by Seger-Wagasy (long jump) and Ally Pitcher (3200m run).
6 Season Best performances, and 7 all-time Personal Bests were recorded on the day by the Trojans.
They will finish their SEC Red dual meets with a double-dual meet vs. Pioneer and Saline on Tuesday 5/3.
