Girls Varsity Track vs. Bedford Senior HS School

On Tuesday 5/4, the Monroe Trojan girl's track and field team competed at home vs. Bedford, and secured a win 79-58. Leading the way were Meredith Soule (wins in 100m, 200m, 100m hurdles, 300m hurdles), Kamryn Bice (wins in shot put and discus), and Viktoria Bloniarz (wins in 1600m and 800m). Isabella Seger-Wagasy won the long jump, and Grace LaPrad won the 3200m. Megan Kane was second in both the 100m hurdles and 300m hurdles. The team overall competed well, with 23 new personal records set on the day. This Friday, Monroe travels to Saline to compete in the Track Town Showdown (replacement for Golden Triangle Invitational).
