The Monroe High School girl's track team lost a nail-biter to Skyline at home on Thursday 4/22, in their first competition of the season.  The final score was Skyline 70, Monroe 67.

Winning performances were turned in by: Meredith Soule (100m hurdles, 200m, 300m hurdles), Bridgette Dudley (1600m and 3200m), Kamryn Bice (shot put PR of 36' and discus PR of 103'9").  Coming in second for the Trojans were Zoe Woodfill (100m), Matley Rose (200m and long jump), Viktoria Bloniarz (1600m), Megan Kane (100m hurdles), Isabella Seger-Wagasy (300m hurdles), Cyanna Baumann (shot put PR of 27'10.5"), Lauren Wagner (pole vault), and Ella Foshag (high jump).  Also scoring with third-place finishes were: Alysa Young (long jump), Savannah MacPetrie (discus), Catie Lebeck (shot put), Seger-Wagasy (100m hurdles), Bloniarz (3200m), Woodfill (400m).

After a very limited number of practices, the girls competed well, and next travel to Woodhaven's Warrior Classic this Saturday.
