In game 2 Monday evening, the Trojans fell behind 9-2 in the 5th inning, before rallying to score 11 runs in the final 3 innings to take a come from behind 13-11 win over Saline.  Monroe plated 5 runs in the 5th to cut the Saline lead to 9-7.  Haley Frank tripled in Ellie Sieler.  That hit was followed by doubles from Samantha Spicer, Kayla Peters, and Erica Everson, and a sacrifice fly from Hailey Schink.  In the 6th, singles by Frank, Spicer, Everson, and Schink tied the game at 10.  Monroe took the lead for good in the 7th, when Kallie Trouten reached on a passed ball, Imari Sortor doubled, Sieler singled her in, and Spicer produced a run with a sacrifice fly.  Kayla Peters led the way for Monroe, going 4 for 5 in the game, with several other players collecting 2 hits apiece.  On the mound, Alexa Amazzen settled in and pitched the first 5 innings, and Hailey Schink pitched the final 2 innings to get the win in relief.  The sweep moves Monroe's record to 7-4 overall (5-1 SEC Red).
