FLAT ROCK COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL: 9
Monroe started off the 2018 season Monday at Vince Rossi field with a single game against Flat Rock. The Trojans got off to a slow start, falling behind 5-0 before getting the offense going. Monroe scored single runs in each of the 3rd through the 7th innings, but couldn't find the break-through hit, as Flat Rock won the game 9-5. Kayla Peters collected two singles for the Trojans (0-1).
