JACKSON HIGH SCHOOL: 14
The Freshman team rolled at Whittington Stadium versus Jackson High Freshman 53-14. Cole McElvanny was outstanding at QB and threw 3 Touchdown passes. His first was a 61 yard strike on the first play of the game to Nasir Gray. The second was a 38 yard Hail Mary at the end of the first half to Andrew McCarthy. His last one was a 28 yarder to Carson Desaranno who had 4 Touchdowns on the day. Carson picked up a fumble and ran 23 yards for a score. Nasir Gray had a 99 yard Touchdown on an interception return. Tayshaun Nichols had a Touchdown run from 6 yards out.
The defense was outstanding and was led by Caleb Winkleman, Jonus Snavely, Mason Dykes, and Devlin Jones. The Trojans offensive line blocked well and provided the team with huge holes and plenty of time to pass the ball. The Freshman are now 3-0 and are home Thursday @430 pm against Dearborn Fordson.
