SALINE HIGH SCHOOL: 5
The Monroe Reserves lost a heartbreaker on a walk off home run at Saline. The three run homerun knocked Monroe's JV record down to 5-3 overall. The pitching was led by Owen Johnson, who pitched 4 outstanding innings in keeping the Trojans in the lead. Parker Welch threw 2 scoreless innings and was very sharp with all of his pitches working effectively. Ashton Elmer led the hitting and was 2-3 with two doubles. Caleb Winkelman and Zack Kolberg each added two hits in the game. Monroe Reserves will play at Pinckney this Saturday in a doubleheader.
