SALINE HIGH SCHOOL: 1
The Monroe JV Baseball team came back in the nightcap to split with Saline. Jordan Gibson drove in the winning run and was the winning pitcher as he closed out the last two innings by pitching exceptional. The Trojans were tied in the bottom of the 4th when they exploded for 3 runs to jump ahead. Caleb Winkelman and Tristan Panza had hits in the inning. Alex Assenmacher laid down an excellent squeeze bunt to add the final run of the game. Tristan Panza pitched well in the first three innings to keep the Trojans in the game. Monroe Reserves upped there record to 5-2 overall.
