SALINE HIGH SCHOOL: 6
Monroe reserves lost the first game 6-4. A close play at the plate that would have tied the game at 5 each went Saline's way. Monroe never recovered after that play. Caleb Winkelman pitched well through 5 innings. Saline scored 5 runs in the top of the 5th to jump ahead of the Trojans. Tristan Panza threw well in relief and was on base 3 times and scored three times. Zack Kolberg was the only player to have 2 hits in the game. The Trojans fell to 4-2 overall.
