The Monroe boys took on Red division rival Saline at Maplewood lanes, and as usual, it was a dog fight. Saline took both baker games 197 to 160 and 194 to 134. Trailing by 10 rolling into match play. Monroe took the first game of match play 891 to 844 lead by Blake Cabrera's 211. Needing to win the last match and 3 head to head point Monroe stepped up. Leading the charge was John Zureki with a 225 and a 193 by Richard Kmiec. All totaled up, Monroe took 16.5 of the last 20 points to win the meet 16.5 to 13.5, a great comeback win to start the year.
