A slow start from Monroe high school saw the Trojans going down 3-0 early in the first half. Monroe managed to reorganize themselves, creating many chances in the second half. Late in the second half freshmen Brynn Trouten managed to dribble round the Belleville goalkeeper to tap away her 1st goal of the year. Monroe will look to improve the results against rival Bedford on Tuesday.
