Girls Varsity Track @ Larry Steeb Memorial Invitational

The Monroe girl's Track & Field team competed at Dexter High School at the Larry Steeb Memorial Invitational. Entries were limited, so only a few athletes competed. Kamryn Bice was 7th in shot put and 4th in discus (new Personal Record of 119'4"). Matley Rose was 7th in the 400m (PR of 1:02.33) and 6th in the 200m (PR of 27.64). Meredith Soule was 2nd in the 200m (26.43) and 3rd in the 300m hurdles (new school record of 43.89).
Next is the Division 1 State Finals at Rockford this Saturday, where Faith Butler (high jump), Kamryn Bice (discus), and Meredith Soule (hurdles) will compete.
