CoEd 7 & 8 Track vs. Ypsilant Middle School

Win: 65 - 58
Both boys and girls MMS track teams won against Ypsilanti on Thursday, May 9th. First place finishes by Ally Pitcher, Viktoria Bloniarz, Mari Fall and the girls 4x800m relays propelled them to victory, while Ashlyn Mydloski, Aryanna Ernest, Tillie Henderson, Thevini Seneviratne, Makayla and Katie Harris and Sabrina Cook rounded out the scoring. A majority of the girls also got PRs during the meet. The boys also did well with several great performances and some nail biting finishes. First place finishes for the boys included Gabe Sweat, MarMar Griffin and Manuel Diaz, as well as three of the four relays. Good job Trojans!!

MMS Girls track team lost to Beach Middle School on Tuesday, May 7th, but had some outstanding performances by the girls. Mari Fall got two firsts, Viktoria Bloniarz got two firsts and several of the girls had PRs in their races including Ally Pitcher, Ashlyn Mydloski, Katie Boss, Diamond Thompson, Maddie Bomia and Karly Bundon.
MMS Boys track won their meet against Chelsea Beach Middle School. Great job gentlemen!

Win: 73 - 55
MMS Girls track lost to Bedford on Thursday, 38 to 85. 1st place performances for the Trojan girls were Mari Fall in the 100M Dash and the 200M Hurdles, Katie Harris in the 200M Dash and Viktoria Bloniarz in the 3200M Run. 2nd place finishes for the girls were Bloniarz in the 1600M Run, Athena Worrell in the 400m dash and Aryanna Ernest in the shot put. Rounding out 3rd places for the Trojans were Tilli Henderson in the 55 hurdles, Jayla Fall in the 70m dash and Karly Bundon in the 3200m Run. Great effort by the ladies!
The MMS Boys track team won their meet against Bedford, 73 to 55.
