Winning medals for the Trojans were Teegan Simmons (discus), Ethan Ellis (discus), Brayden Richard (shot put), and the 4x800 relay (Andrew Foshag, Dan Rhoades, Kyle Hoffner, Luke Butler). Simmons also qualified for the state finals in the discus.

Boys track competed at the SEC Championship meet Friday. Winning medals for the Trojans were Brayden Richard (shot put) and Teegan Simmons (discus). Also scoring for the Trojans were Makhi Hyden (discus), Richard (discus), and Andy Foshag (1600). Monroe recorded many personal bests today, including Foshag (1600), Maxx Adams (1600), Myles Bray (1600), Josh Williams (200), Keoni Snavely (200), Philly Pham (shot put), Makhi Hyden (discus), Teegan Simmons (400), Dan Rhoades (400, 800), Kyle Hoffner (800), and Luke Butler (800).

First place performances came from Teegan Simmons (200, discus), Andy Foshag (1600, 3200), Brayden Richard (shot put), Josh Williams (long jump), the 4x400 relay (Simmons, Foshag, Dan Rhoades, Luke Butler), and the 4x800 relay (Butler, Foshag, Rhoades, Myles Bray). Second place finishes came from Simmons (100), Richard (discus), Bray (3200), Butler (1600), and Rhoades (400, 800). Third place finishes came from Williams (200), Maxx Adams (1600, 3200), and Ethan Ellis (shot Put).
