The Trojans excelled at the Post A PR Invitational Tuesday afternoon at Huron Meadows Metropark. Running season bests for the Trojans were Brady Pitcher at 18:12 and Colton Hirst at 17:42 to win the Winged Foot boys' race. Running personal bests were Elijah Ball in 17:56, Brendan Montri in 18:15, Nick Massengill in 19:39, Alex Apetroaei in 21:07, and Evan Welsford in 21:31.

The Trojans competed at the MHSAA Regional meet today. Placing 8th in the varsity race, the Trojans were led by Craig Latty, who placed 13th and qualified for the state finals next Saturday at Michigan International Speedway. Also running well for Monroe were Chad McCarthy, Elijah Ball, and Brady Pitcher.

Monroe boys cross country competed at the Portage Invitational Saturday. Running well for the Trojans were Chad McCarthy, Elijah Ball, and McCarty Mendoza. The boys team finished in 32nd place.

Monroe boys cross country placed 22nd out of 38 teams in the Spartan Invitational Green Race. The Trojans were led by Chad McCarthy in 51st place. Craig Latty, Brendan Montri, McCarty Mendoza and Noah Finley all recorded season best times.

The Monroe High boys cross country team placed 10th in the first Southeastern Conference Jamboree of the season at Willow Metro Park. Great performances came from Chad McCarthy, Nick Manor, Elijah Ball, Colton Hirst, and Craig Latty. Elijah Ball, Nick Parran, Nick Massengill, Grey Johnson, and Alex Apetroaei all ran personal best times.

The Monroe High boys cross country team placed 5th in the Division 1 competition at the Mason Relays with 60 points. The top finishers were the teams of Chad McCarthy and Nick Manor, Craig Latty and Elijah Ball, Brady Pitcher and Brendan Montri, and Colton Hirst and Jacob Gladieux.
