BEDFORD JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 8
Monroe's 8th grade football team traveled to Bunkleman Field last Tuesday and improved their record to 3-1 with a 22-8 victory over Bedford Gray. Touchdowns were scored by Torran Simmons (2 Rushing) and Grady Brooks (Rushing). Brooks also scored a rushing 2pt conversion and threw another to Max Bodi. Defensive standouts were Asher Simmons, Tonio Taylor, Justice Johnson, DaWaan Watkins, and Caden Pfeifer. The Trojans end their season tomorrow when they travel to Grogan's Towne Field to take on Bedford Red. Kickoff is at 5:30pm
