Monroe earned a road victory on Tuesday vs. Tecumseh 30-16 to move their season record to 2-1. Scoring leaders were Grady Brooks with two rushing touchdowns, Asher Simmons with a rushing touchdown, and Tavin Parkhurst with an interception returned for a touchdown. Two point conversions were made by Brooks (rushing), Torran Simmons (reception from Brooks), & Landin Turner-Pomeroy (reception from Brooks). Wesley Hayes recovered a fumble and Brett Bray also played well on defense. The Trojans will play Bedford at Monroe High next Tuesday at 7pm.
