YPSILANT MIDDLE SCHOOL: 14
Monroe evened their record last night by defeating Ypsilanti 38-14. The Trojans scoring was led by Asher Simmons and Tavin Parkhurst each rushing for a touchdown. Grady Brooks threw touchdown passes to Torran Simmons, and Landin Turner-Pomeroy. Julian Espinoza, Brett Bray, & Brooks scored rushing 2pt conversions while Torran Simmons scored a receiving 2pt conversion. The defense was led by Asher Simmons (fumble recovery for a touchdown), Brett Bray (fumble recovery), Max Bodi (fumble recovery), & Brooks (forced fumble). The 1-1 Trojans go on the road next Tuesday and face Tecumseh.
