CoEd 7 & 8 Track vs. Tecumseh Middle School

We had our second track meet of the season against Tecumseh. We lost 171-79. Highlights for Monroe included Josh Williams taking 3rd in the boys 100 and 2nd in the boys long jump. Torrin Simmons took firsts in both the 200m and the shot put. Blake Rectenwal took 2nd in the boys 400m. Jayce Hay took 1st in the 800m and second in the 1600m. Brian Deitz took 1st in the 55m hurdles, 2nd in the 200m hurdles, and 3rd in the long jump. Josh Riggs took 2nd in the 800m. For the girls, Anna Coury took 2nd in the girls 800m and 3rd in the 1600m. Grace Palmer took 1st in shot put and Corrina Aulph took 1st in high jump. We have our next meet this Thursday at Bedford.
