the MHS track team hosted both Temperance Bedford and Ann Arbor Skyline for a tri-meet today.
In sunny weather, the girls made a lot of improvements, but ultimately fell short in the team scores:
Monroe 50 Beford 83
Monroe 24 Skyline 113
There were lots of improvements, as the girls posted 10 new Season Best marks. Of note was Gabby Highers, who posted her best performances in all 3 of her events (100m dash, 100m hurdles, long jump).
There were also 32 new Personal Record marks. Highlights for that included freshmen Cyanna Bauman (shot put and disc), Gillian Doederlein (shot put and discus), Jsa'Honna Hall (100m, 400m, high jump - improved by 6") and Lauren Wagner who posted PRs in all four of her events (100m, 400m, pole vault, long jump)
