In game 2 against Bedford Monday night, the Trojans just couldn't keep up with a hot Bedford offense, falling 13-3. Despite the loss, Avery Leach and Alana Aulph had nice games offensively, each with 2 hits, while Aulph connected on her second home run of the day.
With the losses, Monroe's record is 5-8 on the season. The Trojans host Jackson High School for a single game Wednesday. Game time is 4:30 pm at Vince Rossi Field.
