Monroe Boys JV soccer team enjoyed a successful day winning their home jnvitational with wins against Ypsilanti Community School and Woodhaven.Results and reports provided by Coach Steel are as follows: . Vs Ypsi: Vega Cochran (Assist by Vishwas Joshi) opened the scoring. Vishwas added a PK in the 1st half. Tobin Becker scored in the 2nd half (Assist by Vishwas Joshi). Dontrell Logan converted a late PK to secure the victory at 4-0. Strong performances by Logan Brockway (midfield), Peyton Renwick (defense) and Jameson Schmitt (goal) Vs Woodhaven Cooper Robinson (Assist by Vega Cochran)opened the scoring. Vishwas Joshi (Assist by Cooper Robinson) added a second goal to secure the 2-0 victory. Strong performances by Leandro Alcantra (defense), Logan Brockway (midfield) and Jameson Schmitt (goalie).
