HURON HIGH SCHOOL: 8
The JV baseball team rallied from 5 runs down to take the win in walk-off fashion Monday night in the second game of 2 with AA Huron. Garrett Gottschalk earned his first JV victory by holding AA Huron scoreless when we needed it. Brady Welch and Logan Loveland paced the hitting with multiple hits in the game. The walk-off single to win the game came off the bat of Brady Welch in the bottom of the 6th inning as darkness forced the umps to call it the last inning. The Reserves improved to 5-11 on the season and have turned the corner to become a competitive team this spring.
