The Monroe JV almost gave away their third game in a row vs AA Skyline. After letting Skyline comeback after squandering a 9-3 lead the Trojans would win with a walk-off double by Gavin Yount. Durke Venier paced the pitching by pitching going 4 innings and giving up zero earned runs. Brady Welch picked up the win by throwing the well the last 3 innings. Gavin Yount was the only Trojan to record multiple hits on the day with 2, including the game winning double. The Trojans will play at home Friday at 430 pm vs. AA Pioneer.
