MILAN HIGH SCHOOL: 1
The Trojan Reserves improved to 5-0 after a 3-1 victory over Milan Saturday in the second game of the doubleheader. Brady Welch pitched a complete game and struck out 11 while giving up one earned run.
The hitting was led by Evan Johnson, Breylon Richards, Spencer Atwood, Brandon Bice, and Logan Loveland who all chipped in a hit to give Monroe the 3 runs they needed to hang on for the victory. Monroe JV improved to 5-0 and will travel to Pinckney Monday for a doubleheader this Monday at Pinckney.
