Monroe JV started off the season in outstanding fashion with an 8-0 win at home vs Ann Arbor Huron in the JV team's first game of the season. Jacob Smith was a force on the mound and ended up pitching a complete game for the Trojans. Jacob would end the game with 15 strikeouts and zero walks as he improved to 1-0 on the season. Leading hitters for the game were Logan Loveland 2/3, Drake Leach 3/4, and Drew Scznsny had 2 doubles to pace the Trojans hitting attack.
