Boys Varsity Swimming vs. Ypsi & Erie Ida

The Trojans got their first win of the season taking down Ypsi 91 to 64. Top points earners were Alex Apetroaei (15) & Maxx Adams (14). Monroe won 7 of the 12 events, getting 1st AND 2nd in the IM (Reggie Geftos & Elliott Moore), 50 Free (Apetroaei & Ashton Walker), 100 Free (Walker & Geftos), & 500 Free (Adams & Robert Johnson). The medley relay team of Zek Green, Apetroaei, Geftos, & Walker also won with a season best performance.
Monroe also swam Erie Ida at this tri meet, and fell 125 to 48.
"Swimming teams that are closer in size to ours really allowed our guys to race. We are thrilled to have our first win of the season against Ypsi, and I was very pleased with our performances against Erie Ida.
