The Monroe boys track team competed well at the Tiger Relays Friday at Belleville. First place performances came from Teegan Simmons (shot put), Jordan Bassler (discus), the 4x800 relay of Andrew Foshag, Dan Rhoades, Kyle Hoffner, and Nick Parran, and the distance medley relay of Parran, Foshag, Alex Apetroaei, and Andrew McCarthy. Also placing for Monroe were Bassler (shot put), Simmons (discus), Makhi Hyden (shot put), Brayden Richard (discus), McCarthy (high jump, 400), Tayshaun Nichols (high jump), Apetroaei (400), Parran (1600), Foshag (1600), the 4x100 relay (Karon Rollins, Ethan Merkle, Jayson Six, and Ashton Walker), the 4x400 relay (Rhoades, Hoffner, Apetroaei, and McCarthy), and the sprint medley relay (Rhoades, Merkle, Simmons, Rollins).
