Boys Varsity Track @ Warrior Classic

Monroe boys track placed 5th at the Warrior Classic Saturday. Leading the Trojans was Andrew McCarthy placing first in the long jump, third in the high jump, fourth in the 200, and fifth in the 400. Darien Trotter placed second in the shot put and fifth in the discus. Luke Butler placed fourth in the 1600 and third in the 3200. Noah Stein placed sixth in the 200 and sixth in the high jump. The 4x200 relay of Garrett Lewis, Dan Rhoades, Nathan Venier, and Karon Rollins placed fifth, as did the 4x400 relay of Stein, Rhoades, Andrew Foshag, and Butler and the 4x800 relay of Alex Apetroaei, Elijah Ball, Kyle Hoffner, and Foshag.
