Boys Varsity Track vs. Multiple Opponents

We had two good days at the Golden Triangle Invitational in Saline. No team score was kept, but our athletes won plenty of medals and set many PR's.
The Sprint Medley Relay was the highlight of the meet for us. The team of Jacob Toussaint, Thomas Grant, Jared Banks, and Lane Kirk finished 2nd to Saline in 1:35.51. This time qualified the boys for the New Balance Outdoor Nationals.
Other medalists:
Harlan Pfefferle was 2nd in the shot put with his 44'8".
Toussaint was 2nd in the long jump with his 22'2".
Kirk was 4th in the open 400 in a PR of 50.24.
Cole Chappell was 4th in the discus with his 131'3",
The 800 relay team of Toussaint, Grant, Banks, and Kirk finished 3rd in 1:31.37.
The 400 relay team of Toussaint, Grant. Banks, and Kirk finished 3rd in a season best 43.88.
The 1600 relay team of Grant, Banks, Chad McCarthy, and Kirk was 5th in 3:32.33.
The Distance Medly Relay Team of Craig Latty, Nathan Lorimor, Chad McCarthy, and Matthew Parran finished 6th in 11:09.
