SKYLINE HS: 14
Monroe played very well against Skyline winning their homecoming game 35-14. The Trojans were led by their offensive line of Cross Jacobs, Lucas Ellis, Jordan Bassler, Denver Rice, Troy Vajcner, Gavin Yount and Armando Flores. They opened holes for the running game and gave Wyatt Head time to throw all night to the tune of 504 total yards. Tristin Panza had 4 Td's on the night (1 receiving) while Wyatt Head scored the other on the ground. Carson Goodnough made an extra point and had a great game at receiver (3 rec., 107 yards).
Defensively the Trojans were led by Adam Alamo's 2 interceptions. Owen Thomas, Connor Martin, Tayshaun Nichols, Cross Jacobs and Jahiziel Williams had sacks and Jacob Blosser and AJ Harris also played well.
The Trojans are on the road Friday at Ann Arbor Huron.
