The Trojans earned their first win of the season Friday with a 47-13 win over Tecumseh. After Tecumseh took a 7-0 lead, AJ Harris got the Trojans on the board with a 7 yard touchdown run. After a 3 and out defensively, Connor Martin came up with a huge punt block. The ball rolled out of the back of the endzone for a safety. On Monroe's next drive, Carson Goodnough knocked through a 24 yards field goal to give the Trojans a 12-7 lead. Wyatt Head added 2 touchdown runs to cap the first half scoring to open up a 26-7 lead going into half. The Trojans scored on all 3 of their possessions in the second half scoring on touchdown runs by AJ Harris, Marcos Williams and Jacob Blosser. Williams ended with 142 yards rushing while Head added 77 and Harris 60. Head and Blosser combined to go 12-17 passing with Tristin Panza having 5 catches and A'devian Bilingsley 3.Carson Goodnough was 5 for 5 on extra points to go along with his field and added 2 catches on offense. Defensively the Trojans were swarming all night. Jahiziel Williams, Cross Jacobs, Owen Thomas, Estevan Rincon and Carsons Desarrano had big nights. The Trojans are back in action next Friday at Ann Arbor Pioneer.
