Monroe clinched a playoff spot with a 42-7 victory over Ann Arbor Pioneer on homecoming night. It ran the Trojans record to 6-1 with a shot at the league championship at Saline next week. Jalen Johnson led the offense with 2 tds and Jared Banks, Hayes Brooks, Maleik Linton and Cody Scsavnicki also scored 1 each. Wyatt Head threw a TD pass to Scsavnicki and Carson Goodnough was 6-6 on Extra Points. Cole Sulfaro added his secontd INT of the year which led to a Trojans score. Brooks, Linton, Johnson, Sulfaro, D'ron Huggins, Joe Schnorberger, Lance Theisen, Jace Clark and Anthony Harris led a great defensive effort and as always the Trojans offensive line paved the way for 350 yards on the night.
