TRENTON HIGH SCHOOL: 4
Trenton came away with a 4-3 win in the second game of the DH with Monroe. Jacob Smith pitched extremely well in his Varsity debut, giving up 2 runs over 4 innings of work.
Trenton pulled out the win with a few clutch hits and key bunts, including a squeeze that plated the go ahead run in the Top of the 7th. Owen Yount took the loss in relief.
Offensively, the Trojans were led by Garrett LaBeau who went 3-3.
