BLISSFIELD HIGH SCHOOL: 6
The Trojans (8-5; 6-0 SEC Red) fell in extra innings to Blissfield 6-5. Kellen Roberts took the loss as Blissfield ralled from a 5-2 deficit to pull out the win in 8 innings.
Offensively, Monroe outhit Blissfield 9 to 5 and had multiple hit games from Tristin Panza (2-4) and Garret LaBeau (2-5). Noah Miller added a 2-RBI double and Ashton Elmer scored a pair of runs in the loss.
Tomorrow, Monroe continues its season at Clark Field against state-ranked Detroit Western International (4:30).
