ADRIAN HIGH SCHOOL: 0
Monroe won the opener of its doubleheader against Adrian 10-0 (6 Innings). Ryan Sieler earned the victory on the mound. He lasted 5 innings, allowing 1 hit and zero runs while striking out 10. Garrett LaBeau shut down Adrian in the 6th to close it out.
Offensively, Caleb Winkelman (3-4, 2 runs scored), Ashton Elmer (2-4, 3 runs scored) and Noah Miller (2-2) managed multiple hits. In addition, Miller knocked in 4 runs. Zach Lambert also scored 2 runs in the winning effort.
Defensively Monroe played a flawless game - committing zero errors.
