Monroe lost its opener with Ann Arbor Huron 12-7. Sloppy play in the field and timely hits allowed Huron to pull away after the Trojans had cut their lead to 7-6 in the Top of the 4th. Cole Sulfaro and Wyatt Head each had 2 hits to lead the Trojans.
