Monroe allowed a 7-3 to slip away and lost 8-7 in 8 innings to Ann Arbor Pioneer. Walks and lack of execution defensively led to the defeat. Cole Sulfaro pitched 4 strong innings and the team was led in hitting by Adam Baltrip who went 3-4 with 6 runs batted in.
