Monroe opened the season with 14-4 5-Inning win over New Boston Huron. Evan Earnest earned the win and Carson Goodnough pitched two strong innings of relief. Leading the way in hitting were Earnest with 2 hits and Blake Assenmacher who went 2 for 4 with 4 RBI.
