Monroe Varsity Boys won their own invitational tournament with two wins on Saturday. The day began with a 4-2 victory over Ypsilanti Community School. Brian Palmer Jovanny Gallegos (2) and Talen Swinkey were the goalscorers. Keeper Ethan Merkle stepping in for the injured Nick Braden played well.Next game for the Trojans is on Tuesday at home against Dexter.
