It was a case of deja vu all over again for the Monroe boys' soccer team as they conceded two late goals in Thursday nights game against Ann Arbor Huron. In a repeat of Tuesdays game with Saline it had been an enthralling back and forth contest for the first 70 minutes with Monroe having several clear chances on the day. Brian Palmer and Jovanny Gallegos both went close to opening the scoring and Austin Dunn had a goal disallowed for being marginally offside following a Talen Swinkey free kick. At the other end Nick Braden in goal put in another excellent performance pulling off several fine saves to keep the Trojan goal intact. It was a disappointing result to open up the new era at Bunkelman Field  but the boys put up a spirited fight against a very talented and deep squad. Talen Swinkey, Logan Janes, and Bryson Lane all had strong games for the Trojans.
